Amb. David Cheng-Wei Wu hosted the 2026 Taiwan Scholarship Award Ceremony

Today, Amb. David Cheng-Wei Wu hosted the 2026 Taiwan Scholarship Award Ceremony. The event was filled with youthful energy, warm smiles, and excitement for the journey ahead!
Amb. Wu also shared that, during his previous posting, he had the opportunity to select and send students from a diplomatic ally to Taiwan for further studies. Today, one of those students has become the ambassador of that allied country to Taiwan. He encouraged the four scholarship recipients not only to embark on an enriching academic journey in Taiwan, explore knowledge, make new friends, and experience Taiwan’s diverse culture, but also to bring this valuable experience of cross-cultural exchange back to Fiji and Kiribati
