Representative Sherman Kuo of the Taipei Representative Office in Greece participates in the 56th International Folklore Festival of Lefkada

On August 24, 2018, Representative Sherman Kuo of the Taipei Representative Office in Greece, participated in the 56th International Folklore Festival of Lefkada. Hon-wa Folk Dance Troupe from Taiwan was invited to showcase its traditional Taiwanese and Hakka dance and music, “Shadows of Blue Clothes” and “Florescence of Tung Blossoms.” The Taiwanese performance was well-received.
Representative Kuo met with Mr. Liu Ming-jen, leader of Hon-wa Folk Dance Troupe and its members to exchange opinions of promoting Taiwanese culture to the world. He emphasized the importance of Cultural Diplomacy and encouraged Hon-wa Folk Dance Troupe and other cultural groups to continue their efforts to promote Taiwan around the world.
