Taipei Representative Office in Hungary is pleased to announce that the 2022 Taiwan Fellowship Program is calling for application from May 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021.
This Program is established to encourage outstanding international experts and scholars to conduct advanced research and studies at Taiwan’s universities, colleges or research institutions. The topic of the research projects should be related to the Republic of China (Taiwan), the Asia Pacific Region Security, Cyber Security, Global Combat on Disinformation, Strategic Studies, Gender Issues or other relevant subjects in humanity studies.
The accepted fellows will be awarded a monthly stipend of 50,000 to 60,000 New Taiwan Dollars (approximately 1,470 to 1,770 euros, depending on the current exchange rate) as well as the refund of the economic class round trip flight ticket. The research period can be from 3 months to 12 months during 2022.
The applicants should complete the on-line application, which is open from May 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021. In addition, the printed out application form, résumé (including list of publications), research plan (no more than 3 pages) and two letters of recommendation should be sent via post to Taipei Representative Office in Hungary (address: 1088 Budapest, Rakoczi ut. 1-3, Hungary) no later than June 30, 2021.
The list of selected candidates for the Taiwan Fellows is expected to be announced in early November. The candidates will need to find an institution to host their research in Taiwan and hand in the agreements from the host institutions.
