- Application Method
(1) Application for a visitor visa shall be submitted in person, through a duly authorized travel agency, or by post.(2) Post-in Application : For residents of Hungary、Serbia、Kosovo、Montenegro、Bosnia-Herzegovina and Romania only.(3) Application for a resident visa must be submitted in person.
(4) In the case of applications submitted by post, all shipping costs shall be borne by the applicant. Upon completion of processing, the applicant will be notified to arrange for DHL or another courier service to collect the documents from this office. All shipments shall be arranged on a freight collect basis.(5) For applications submitted by post, the processing period shall commence on the working day following the date of receipt of the application. Applicants are advised to take this into consideration and allow sufficient processing time.
(6) The Taipei Representative Office in Hungary shall bear no responsibility for any delay, damage, or loss of documents or passports transmitted by post.

- Payment Method
(1) For in-person applications, payment shall be made in cash only. Applicants are requested to present the exact amount.
(2) When submitting by post, applicants must enclose the exact amount of the applicable consular fee in the envelope.

- Document Collection Procedures:
- Applicants or Agent may collect their documents during the Consular Section’s working hours (Monday to Friday, 09:30–12:00) without the need for an appointment.
- Via Delivery Service
Applicants may also opt to receive their documents via courier. In this case, the applicant is responsible for: - Paying the relevant delivery fees in advance;
- Arranging for the delivery service;
- Sending the shipping label to the Consular Section as a PDF file at least one working day prior to the courier’s scheduled arrival.
- Payment Notice
Fees shall be paid in full at the time of application. Payment after submission will not be accepted. - Currency Notice
This office is unable to provide change and does not accept United States dollar banknotes issued prior to 2004. - Office Hours
