Legalization Overview
Foreign documents to be used in R.O.C. (Taiwan) should be authenticated by the Taiwanese overseas mission located in that country in advance.
- Documents issued in Ireland must be authenticated in sequence by the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and then by our office.
- Please note that, according to current regulations, documents issued outside of Ireland will not be accepted by our office.
Application Procedure
- Prepare all required documents for legalization at our office.
- Submitting your application:
- In-Person Submission: To submit your application in person, please schedule an appointment with our office by emailing twnirl@gmail.com or calling 01-6785413 during office hours. On your appointment date, you will need to submit the required documents and complete the payment.
- Postal Submission: Send all required documents and fees via registered post or a reliable courier service. ※Please note that our office is not liable for any delays or loss of documents during postal delivery.
- Application Process: Applications typically take 7-10 working days to process.
- Collection: Once your documents are ready, our office will notify you via email or phone. If you selected postal return and provided a prepaid return envelope, we will use it to send your documents back to you. ※For more details about postal services, please visit the "Consular Service Overview" page.
Important Note: Power of attorney, authorization, declaration, and self-made Mandarin translations must be submitted in person.
