Purpose: The objectives of the Taiwan Literature Base Writers-in-Residence program include promoting Taiwan literature and cultural creativity and facilitating relationships between creatives and the commercial sector. It is hoped that short-term residencies will help vitalize both domestic and international cultural and literary exchange, nurture creative literary talent in Taiwan, and reconstruct historical literary narratives.
