To promote knowledge, understanding and friendship between Taiwan and Israel and to encourage outstanding international students to undertake degree programs in Taiwan, I wish to inform you that the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) offers two kinds of scholarships for the next academic year:
1. Taiwan Scholarship Program (Master Degree,2 Years)
(i) The MOE awards each recipient tuition of up to NTD 40, 000 per semester (Approx.US$ 1,250). If the total amount of tuition should exceed NTD 40,000, the remainder of all costs shall be covered by the recipient. Tuition and academic fees do not include any of the following: administration fees, thesis-advising fees, insurance premiums, accommodation, Internet access, all of which are payable by the recipients.
(ii) Subsistence allowance: The MOE offers each recipient undertaking graduate studies a monthly stipend of NTD 20, 000 (approximately US$ 625).
(iii) All applicants must apply to Master programs only from the list of universities attached.
2. Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (1 Year)
(i) The MOE awards each recipient monthly stipend of NT25, 000.-(approximately US$ 780).
(ii) Scholarship recipient is responsible for tuition and all living expenses.
Application Period: From February 16th through March 18th, 2016.
In the last two weeks of March, applicants will be invited for an interview.

1. One copy of completed application form (Please fill the correct form for your desired scholarship).
2. One photocopy of most recent school (university) grade transcript (all certificates must be in English).
3. One passport copy.
