All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Taiwan join hands to push academic collaboration between the two countries, according to a report by The Times of India April 29, 2019.
“Since Taiwan is known for its smart machine and Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) industries, our students will receive proper training and hands-on experience in the new emerging domains such as AI, ML, 3D painting, etc. while studying in the universities in Taiwan," says Rajive Kumar, adviser, P&AP, AICTE.
“India is the hub of bright students and through faculty-student exchange programmes and scholarships, we aim to build a strong academic relationship with India which will strengthen the economic and socio-cultural cooperation as well,” says Chung-Kwang Tien, ambassador, TECC, while talking to Education Times.
Technical institutes from India interested in building an academic relationship with Taiwan universities can send their queries to AICTE.
