The Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India (TECC) hosted a Taiwan Alumni Association (TAA) tea gathering in New Delhi on 18 June 2026, bringing together Taiwan Fellowship alumni from across India for an afternoon of networking, discussion, and academic exchange.

Ambassador Mumin Chen welcomed the participants and expressed appreciation for their continued engagement with Taiwan. He highlighted the important role that scholars and researchers play in enhancing mutual understanding between Taiwan and India and encouraged more Indian academics to apply for the Taiwan Fellowship program. Participants exchanged views on recent regional developments, Taiwan-related research, and future opportunities for collaboration. The gathering also provided a valuable platform for reconnecting with fellow alumni and strengthening academic networks.

TECC remains committed to promoting Taiwan–India exchanges through the Taiwan Fellowship program, cultural initiatives, academic cooperation, and people-to-people engagement.
