INFORMATION ON VISA FEES

Visitor Visa: Single Entry: Rs.4,200 (for express service: Rs.6,300) Multiple Entries: Rs.8,400 (for express service: Rs.12,600)

Resident Visa: Single Entry: Rs.5,600 (for express service: Rs.8,400) Multiple Entries: Rs.11,100 (for express service: Rs.16,700)

Paid by Demand drafts (in favor of Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in Chennai). No cheque and cash. On-line payment is unacceptable.

VISITOR VISA FOR TOURISM PURPOSE

VISITOR VISA FOR BUSINESS PURPOSE

9. Letter from the personal/ company bank recent 3 months closing balance with seal and signature from the bank and company income tax returns

VISITOR VISA FOR CONFERENCE /EXHIBITION

VISITOR VISA FOR JOINING/VISITING FAMILY

VISITOR VISA FOR INTERNSHIP/ TRAINING

7. Approval issued by respective in-charge governmental authority in Taiwan
8. A proof of sponsorship/self finances (minimum USD 300 per month)
9. Confirmed round trip air tickets

VISITOR VISA FOR JOINING SHORT TERM RESEARCH

VISITOR VISA FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT

RESIDENT VISA FOR EMPLOYMENT OR FULFILMENT OF CONTRACT

RESIDENT VISA FOR JOINING FAMILY

8. Health certificate/ vaccination certificate attested by the Ministry of External Affairs in India and authenticated by the TECC in Chennai
9. Marriage certificate attested by the Ministry of External Affairs in India and authenticated by the TECC in Chennai
10. Birth certificate attested by the Ministry of External Affairs in India and authenticated by the TECC in Chennai
11. Personal bank letter for recent 3 months closing balance with seal and signature from the bank

RESIDENT VISA FOR STUDY PURPOSE

9. Health certificate attested by the Ministry of External Affairs in India and authenticated by the TECC in Chennai
10. Degree certificate attested by the Ministry of External Affairs in India and authenticated by the TECC in Chennai
11. Mark sheets attested by the Ministry of External Affairs in India and authenticated by the TECC in Chennai

Amend Online Application for R.O.C. (Taiwan) Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC) (Applicable to citizens of India, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos)

To be eligible for an ROC Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC), the following conditions must be met:

1. The applicant’s passport must have remaining validity of at least six months starting from the date of arrival in Taiwan.
2. The applicant must possess an onward/return air or ferry ticket.
3. The applicant has never been employed as a blue-collar worker in Taiwan.

In addition, the applicant must possess at least one of the following documents issued by Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, any of the Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, or the United States:

1. Valid resident or permanent resident card
2. Valid entry visa (may be electronic visa)
3. Resident card or visa that has expired less than 10 years prior to the date of arrival in Taiwan

Notes

1. Nationals of Indonesia who possess a valid Japan Visa Waiver Registration are eligible for an ROC Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC).
2. The visas in the aforementioned list of required documents do not include work permits.
3. Online applications can only be made by persons holding valid regular passports. Persons holding temporary, emergency, or informal passports, or travel documents  other than a passport, cannot submit online applications.
4. If any mistake is made during the online application process, the applicant may submit a new application.
5. Once the application has been approved, the applicant is kindly requested to print out the ROC Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC). The applicant must present the certificate and the required documents for inspection when entering Taiwan. Entry will be denied if the required documents are not produced.
6. An approved ROC Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC) is valid for 90 days. Multiple entries within these 90 days are allowed. The holder of an ROC Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC) may stay in Taiwan for 30 days, starting from the day after arrival. If the holder wishes to apply for another ROC Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC), he or she must do so seven days prior to the expiry of the current certificate.
7. Passengers are required to first obtain a permit for visa-exempt entry through Advance Online Registration System, a website hosted by Taiwan’s National Immigration Agency (NIA). Please log into to apply for this permit. Normally, the process of clearance by NIA is instant at the same time the applicant submit an application on line, and a permit (officially referred to as an authorization certificate) can be printed out within minutes. This authorization certificate shall enable the traveler to enter Taiwan visa-exempt.
   Please note that passport holders who used to be employed in Taiwan as blue-collar workers will not be eligible for visa-exempt entry into Taiwan.
