Dr. Meera Rajeev Kumar, Assistant Professor of Department of Public Administration, Madras Christian College, had participated the "International Workshop on Promotion of Women in Agri-Food Education" organized by ICDF in April in Taiwan. In order to share her experience of the workshop she organized a gathering at noon of August 30th and more than 60 members of the faculty staff and students. All of them agreed that the professional knowledge taught in the workshop can be applied on the projects in collaboration with NGOs to improve the agricultural education for young students and especially the agricultural skills for women, or to organized the farmer's association with Indian characteristics to increase the production and the efficiency of marketing, management and educational system. The gathering surely offered an opportunity to those attendants to appreciate the beauty of Taiwan and its people, technology and contribution to the world.
