Two Taiwan Scholarship awardees, Satishkumar Subendran and Sureshraj Sellamathu Palanisamy, from Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, called upon Director-General Charles Li of the TECC in Chennai on the morning of August 1 to share their aspiration for studying for Master degrees in Taiwan. Director-General Charles Li congratulated them on their being awarded Taiwan Scholarship because they are the first from Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute. He looks forward to more talented students to be granted Taiwan Scholarship in the coming years. There are 13 Faculties of the University, namely, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Dental Surgery, Faculty of Medical and Allied Health Science, Faculty of Humanities & Sciences, Faculty of Management Studies, Faculties of Architecture, Faculty of Computer Applications, Faculty of Social Justice and Empowerment, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Hotel Management and Faculty of Education.
