Strengthening Taiwan–South India Trade and Investment Cooperation

This afternoon, Mr. Stephen Hsu, Director-General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) in Chennai, met with EY Partner Mr. Ashwin Ravindranath and his staff Ms. Yvonne Hsu to discuss support for Taiwanese companies operating in India and those planning to invest in the Indian market.

The discussion covered trade and investment, education, taxation, labour laws, and accounting matters. Mr. Ashwin Ravindranath expressed EY’s willingness to provide voluntary preliminary accounting services to Taiwanese companies seeking to establish or expand their presence in India.

TECC in Chennai welcomes initiatives that support Taiwanese businesses and encourage greater trade and investment between Taiwan and South India.
