Taiwan Fellowship Offered to Scholars for Conducting Advanced Research in Taiwan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is offering ‘Taiwan Fellowship’ to scholars and researchers for conducting advanced researches at universities or academic institutions in Taiwan. The topics of researches should be related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, mainland China, the Asia-Pacific and Sinology.
Eligible candidates include professors, associate professors, assistant professors, post-doctoral researchers, doctoral candidates, or doctoral program students at related departments of universities, or research fellows at an equivalent level in academic institutions.
The duration of fellowship are 3 to 12 months. The fellowship offers monthly stipends of NT$50,000 (approximately US$ 1,667) to NT$60,000 (approximately US$2,000), and one round-trip, economy-class flight ticket to Taiwan.
