Taiwan contibutes to two major projects in St. Kitts and Nevis

Taiwan is keeping up its efforts in improving the well-being of the people of St. Kitts and Nevis by contributing to the Old Road Bay Rehabilitation Project and Lodge/Ottley’s Multi-purpose Community Center that will significantly enhance people’s safety and security especially during hurricane season.
During a meeting with Prime Minister Timonthy Harris on July 17, Ambassador Tom Lee stated that as a strong ally of St. Kitts and Nevis, Taiwan is very pleased to make some contributions to those two projects. Taiwan cherishes the relationship with St. Kitts and Nevis, and will continue to work with the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis to further deepen the bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Harris expressed his gratitude for Taiwan’s support in the two projects. He emphasized that the friendship between the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis has grown stronger and has withstood the test of time.”
