Health Screenings Organized by Capacity Building Project for the Prevention and Control of Metabolic Chronic Diseases

TaiwanICDF is collaborating with the Ministry of Health of to implement the Capacity Building Project for the Prevention and Control of Metabolic Chronic Diseases. This project will assist in strengthening the prevention and control system for chronic diseases caused by metabolic syndrome. One of the project’s output is to improve people's awareness of their own metabolic chronic conditions by providing health screening services.
Last year, 4,064 persons were screened under the Project throughout the Federation. This year, the goal is set at a minimum of 4,000 persons. In light of further relaxing of COVID-19 restrictions, we expect to have more people joining the health screenings at the Independence Square every month.
