Solid Waste Management and Recycling Project is going strong

Ambassador Michael Lin, Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, and Minister of Environment, Hon. Dr Joyelle Clarke, were all gathered at the Dean Glasford Primary School on February 27 to witness the placement of recycling bins. The Dean Glasford Primary School became the 6th primary school on St. Kitts to have recycling bins installed under the Solid Waste Management and Recycling Project.
Establishing a nation-wide recycling system involves not only the hardware like recycling bins, but also the important task of raising awareness. By engaging schools, students are being educated on what should be recycled and the significance of recycling, which will subsequently have a impact on parents and households.
We invite you to join us in the recycling campaign across the Federation, and visit the Project's Page Let's Recycle in St. Kitts and Nevis for more information.
