Today is International Nurse's Day. Please join us in thanking the nurses who work tirelessly to improve people's health and wellbeing.
Do you know there is a Taiwanese nurse now in St. Kitts and Nevis? Liou Cian arrived in the Federation last October, as a volunteer in the Ministry of Health. He works as a diabetes educator in community health centers, and he helped with health screenings and health educational sessions across the whole country. He also appeared on Good morning SKN by Studio 327 Inc to explain how to eat healthy and exercise.
Liou Cian is part of the TaiwanICDF Overseas Volunteers program. Over the years, there have been many volunteers with expertise in public health and medical care who came to the Federation. These volunteers came to this country with passion for public service and drive to explore a different culture, and they play an important role in the public health and medical cooperation between Taiwan and St. Kitts and Nevis.
