MOE Taiwan Scholarship: Aims to attract talented international students to pursue degrees in Taiwan. Applications are generally open from February to April each year.
ICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Program: Designed to support students from Taiwan's diplomatic allies and friendly developing countries in pursuing degrees in Taiwan. Applications are generally open from December 1 to mid-March of the following year.
2. Academic Research Grants
MOFA Taiwan Fellowship: Supports scholars, including professors and PhD candidates, with research interests in Taiwan, cross-strait relations, Chinese studies, or the Indo-Pacific region. Recipients can conduct research at universities or academic institutions in Taiwan to enhance academic exchange. Applications are generally open from May to June each year.
3. Mandarin Language Scholarships
MOE Huayu Enrichment Scholarship: Applicants can enroll in three-month or six-month Mandarin courses at Mandarin training centers affiliated with universities recognized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. Awardees receive a monthly stipend during their study period. Applications are generally open from early in the year until March each year.
