Embassy Expresses Gratitude to the National Assembly for Its Unanimous Support of Taiwan’s International Participation

The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Saint Kitts and Nevis sincerely expresses its deep appreciation to the National Assembly of Saint Kitts and Nevis for unanimously passing a resolution on April 17, 2025, in support of Taiwan’s participation in international organizations, including the United Nations (UN), the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL). The resolution also underscores the solid diplomatic ties between the two countries and affirms Taiwan’s contributions in global public health, climate action, combating transnational crime, and civil aviation.
This resolution not only reflects the long-standing friendship and shared democratic values between our two nations, but also provides vital support for Taiwan’s efforts to gain meaningful participation in the international community. The Embassy will continue to strengthen bilateral cooperation and deepen the bonds between our peoples, working together toward a more prosperous future.
