Tri-Service General Hospital’s Dr. Jenny Lee Invited to St. Kitts and Nevis to Promote Physical Therapy

Dr. Jenny Lee, Section Chief of the Physical Therapy Division, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Tri-Service General Hospital in Taiwan, was invited to visit St. Kitts and Nevis and serve as a keynote speaker at the “Educate. Empower. Enhance.” Physical Therapy Seminar on August 18, 2025.
The seminar was organized by Peter Douglas, an outstanding alumnus of Taiwan and current physical therapist at JNF General Hospital. Peter studied physical therapy in Taiwan, completed his internship at Tri-Service General Hospital, and was once Dr. Lee’s student. After returning home, he has dedicated himself to promoting the benefits of physical therapy and encouraging the local medical community to better utilize rehabilitation resources, which led him to invite his mentor to share her expertise in St. Kitts and Nevis.
During the seminar, Dr. Lee delivered in-depth lectures on cardiopulmonary and musculoskeletal physical therapy, explaining how rehabilitation can help improve health conditions such as breathing difficulties and lower back pain. Her presentation was well received by the attending healthcare professionals.
