Embassy Attends Prime Minister’s New Year Gala to Welcome 2026

On the evening of January 3, Ambassador Edward Ling-Wen Tao, accompanied by colleagues from the Embassy and the Taiwan Technical Mission, was honored to attend the New Year’s Gala hosted by Prime Minister Terrance Drew. The event brought together the Governor-General, members of the Cabinet, and more than 500 distinguished guests from the business community and various sectors of society.
The Embassy joined friends from every field in a warm and joyful atmosphere to welcome the new year, further deepening the friendship between Taiwan and Saint Kitts and Nevis and underscoring the two countries’ long-standing and steadfast diplomatic ties.
Looking ahead to 2026, the Embassy will continue to uphold the spirit of cooperation and mutual prosperity, working closely with the Technical Mission to strengthen partnerships with Saint Kitts and Nevis across diplomatic engagement and a wide range of technical cooperation fields, injecting renewed vitality into bilateral relations and striving together toward new heights of partnership.
