Ambassador Tao Welcomes TVGH to Join LAMAT for the Third Time

The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Saint Kitts and Nevis warmly welcomes the medical mission team from Taipei Veterans General Hospital (TVGH) on their third visit to participate in the U.S. Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team (LAMAT) mission.
On February 24, Ambassador Edward Tao, Secretary Ms. Feng Yu-Ping, Taiwan Technical Mission Team Leader Mr. Roy Lo, and Project Manager Mr. Alex Lai greeted the delegation at the airport and took commemorative photos.
The team’s first stop was the iconic Timothy Hill, offering a breathtaking view where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea on the southeastern peninsula — a perfect start to their two-week mission.
Over the next two weeks, the TVGH team will provide critical care and neonatal services, collaborating with local and U.S. partners to strengthen the healthcare capacity of Saint Kitts and Nevis, exemplifying the spirit of “Taiwan Can Help.”
