On March 24, . The facility was established under the “Let’s Recycle in St. Kitts and Nevis” project implemented by the Taiwan Technical Mission, marking a significant milestone in environmental cooperation between Taiwan and St. Kitts and Nevis.
The commissioning of the facility will enhance solid waste management and environmental governance on the island, while promoting public awareness of recycling and resource reuse. With improved infrastructure, the project is expected to strengthen community participation and foster a more sustainable and resilient environmental management system.
The event also echoed this year’s Global Recycling Day theme, “Don’t Waste – Think Opportunity,” highlighting the importance of transforming waste into valuable resources. Taiwan will continue to collaborate closely with St. Kitts and Nevis to advance green development and work together toward a more sustainable future.
