The Taiwan Technical Mission in Saint Kitts and Nevis participated on April 30 in the annual St. Kitts Agricultural Open Day and Marine Expo, where it set up booths to showcase a wide range of bilateral cooperation projects implemented by the TaiwanICDF.
Featured initiatives included chick hatching and poultry development, Mandarin language promotion, waste recycling management, improvement of mental healthcare environments, green energy technology demonstration, and digital governance. Interactive games were also designed to engage visitors and help citizens and students better understand the tangible benefits and achievements of these projects.
Ambassador Edward Ling-wen Tao accompanied Prime Minister Terrance Drew, Deputy Prime Minister Geoffrey Hanley, and Minister of Agriculture Samal Duggins in visiting the booths, underscoring the strong partnership between Taiwan and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Prime Minister Terrance Drew was particularly delighted to hold newly hatched chicks from Bayford Hatchery, a meaningful symbol of progress in enhancing local food production and strengthening agricultural sustainability.
