Taiwan Donated Electric School Buses Arrive in Saint Kitts and Nevis, Advancing Green Transport Cooperation

Two Taiwan-donated low-floor electric school buses have arrived in Saint Kitts and Nevis and were officially handed over to the Ministry of Education of Saint Kitts and Nevis, marking the country’s first introduction of electric school buses and a key milestone in bilateral green transport cooperation.
The buses feature energy efficiency, smart remote monitoring, full accessibility, and dedicated charging infrastructure, contributing to safer student transportation and sustainable development.
Deputy Prime Minister Geoffrey Hanley described the delivery as a “historic moment,” reflecting the deepening partnership between the two sides.
Ambassador Edward Tao stated that Taiwan will continue to support Saint Kitts and Nevis’ education and green transition through sustainable technology cooperation.
