On July 1, Ambassador Edward Tao attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Vance Amory Airport Expansion Project alongside Honourable Premier Mark Brantley, Deputy Governor-General Her Honour Hyleeta Liburd, and the Nevis Island Administration Cabinet.
Delivering remarks, Ambassador Tao congratulated the NIA and shared his excitement for the future, emphasizing that the completed airport expansion will inject new impetus into the local economy and open doors to incredible new growth.
Ambassador Tao reiterated that Taiwan is a trusted, reliable, and steadfast partner to Nevis. Taiwan will play a constructive role in the Vance Amory Airport Expansion Project.
