The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Investment, Enterprise Development and Consumer Affairs hosted the 9th Annual Saint Lucian-Taiwan Partnership Trade Exhibition at Johnsons Centre, Rodney Bay, from Nov. 25 to 27, 2016.
This year the trade show highlighted a wide range of quality goods and services from Taiwan and Saint Lucia. The Taiwanese contingent will be composed by of seven companies and institution, each with different expertise. Among them are: TAITRA: (Taiwan’s trade promotion agency), Overseas Engineering and Construction Company (international engineering consultant company), Speedtech Energy (solar- powered appliances), AGT Green Technology (environmentally-friendly houseware goods), Chern Shing Top Company (lumbar support chairs and devices), F-ERA International Limited (cosmetics and beauty products) and Tsan Yu Yen Food (organic and sugar-free food products).
There were a record number of 65 Saint Lucian businesses attending the exhibition, featuring products including handicrafts, processed food, cosmetics, hand bags, designer clothes, and accessories.
The annual Saint Lucian-Taiwan Partnership Trade Exhibition has attracted thousands of visitors every year. In addition to showcasing the high-quality products from both countries, the event also demonstrates Taiwan’s commitment to develop a sustainable and mutually beneficial relationship with Saint Lucia’s business community and entrepreneurs.
