?✨ Community Tourism Stakeholders Networking Event – Laborie ✨?
What a meaningful and inspiring afternoon at the heart of Laborie — a community celebrated for its cultural richness, authentic experiences, and unwavering spirit of unity.
At this Networking Event for Community Tourism Stakeholders, we hear passionate voices from community development, tourism, and the creative sector, all focusing on strengthening partnerships and creating new opportunities for community-based tourism across Saint Lucia.
We are happy to host this event under our Community Business Revitalization Project (CBRP) — a strong partnership between the @Ministry of Commerce and the Taiwan Technical Mission.
Special appreciation to Hon. Alva R. Baptiste, Minister for External Affairs, International Trade, Civil Aviation & Diaspora Affairs, for sharing his vision and continued his efforts in advancing community tourism. Our heartfelt thanks to keynote speaker Mr. Dominic Alexander for his brilliant analysis and advice on community tourism development. Many thanks to the inspiring contribution made by Mr. Patrick Andrew, Ms. Eleanor Rae, Mrs. Stephia Hippolyte, Ms. Carla Chiquot, and last but not least, Mr. Ulric Alphonse, for skilfully moderating the discussions.
Community tourism is not just an industry; it is a movement. A movement that uplifts families, preserves culture, empowers entrepreneurs, and keeps the soul of Saint Lucia alive. As we continue to build partnerships, support artisans, and nurture the next generation of tourism leaders, the future of community tourism shines bright with promise.
In the spirit of culture, unity, and celebration… Jwaye #Jounen Kwéyòl!
