The Republic of China (Taiwan) Embassy in Saint Lucia is now accepting applications for 2026 MOFA Taiwan Scholarship. The program provides Saint Lucian students the opportunity to pursue Undergraduate, Master’s or Doctoral Degrees at prestigious universities in Taiwan.
- Application Period:
Applications for the 2026 MOFA Taiwan Scholarship in Saint Lucia opens until Friday 13 March 2026 at 5:00 PM. - Non-degree Mandarin Language Enrichment Programme (LEP) is optional: 1 year maximum (not applicable for whole English taught degree program). Before pursuing a degree, applicants can choose to spend one year learning Mandarin. This is optional, but it is encouraged to learn basic Mandarin before pursuing degrees.

How to Apply:
- Apply using the online application system (system will start on 1 February 2026, Accounts set up before Feb 1 will be deleted.)

- Please print and submit your completed online application form along with all required documents to the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Saint Lucia before Friday 13 March 2026 by 5:00 PM. Late submissions or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Please note that submitted documents will not be returned.Required Documents:
- Completed application form.
- A photocopy of their passport bio-data page or other documents that prove nationality.
- A certified copy of the highest-level diploma or certificate of equivalent educational level and an official complete grade transcript. If issued by a foreign educational institution, these documents must be authenticated by an ROC diplomatic mission, or directly mailed by the foreign educational institution the applicant attended to the educational institution they plan to matriculate at (if these documents are in languages other than Chinese or English, a Chinese or an English translation should be provided).
- Students will be required to apply to an educational institution or its affiliated Mandarin Training or Language Center. The acceptance letter, confirmation or note of reply or email from the educational institution must be provided to the Embassy. This can be done after the announcement is made.
- Applicants selecting an entirely English-taught degree program must provide an acceptance letter, confirmation, reply note, or email from the university or college in Taiwan. Additionally, they must submit a photocopy of a TOEFL score report, a certificate of English proficiency recognized by their government, or documents certifying graduation from a program taught in English. This requirement does not apply to applicants whose official national language is English. List of Universities Providing Degree Programs Taught in English.
- Two recommendation letters (either using the recommendation form provided in the scholarship application or in your own format).
