What a proud honour for the Republic of China (Taiwan) Navy Squadron to make the historic visit to Saint Lucia for the very first time!

A huge thank you to the Government of Saint Lucia for hosting a vibrant welcome ceremony on 13 April 2026. Along with the Hon. Minister Alva Baptiste, Ministry Of External Affairs, other Cabinet Ministers and government officials joined the general public to extend such a passionate Lucian welcome.

The fleet of the three naval vessels with their 800 plus naval offiers are greeted by the Royal Saint Lucia Police Band and energetic masquerade. Taiwan’s navy reciprocated with captivating performances Marching Band, Honor Guard Parade, & Martial Arts, showcasing our Naval’s proud precision and discipline.

The performances are followed by opening of the flagship vessel and the frigate to the general public. What a lively and enthusiastic crowd, including many students and teachers, making Pointe Seraphine a joyful and unforgettable atmosphere!
