On March 30, upon hitting the shore of Muhu Island where the port #Kuivastu(庫伊瓦斯圖）is located, Amb. Lee was accompanied by Hon. Kalle Laanet, member of the parliament, to call in the mayor of Liiva, Mr. Raido Liitmäe.
An introduction on the city council, administrative operations, impressing issues concern residents and corresponding major policies was given followed by a QA session. Mayor Liitmäe kindly offered a loaf of authentic Muhu black bread and locally produced honey as a gift to Amb. Lee. In return Amb.
Lee presented Mayor with a bottle of Taiwan’s Kavalan single malt whisky, with a brief introduction on the flavor and the prizes the brand has won over the years.
Amb. Lee also briefly visited #Tihuse horseriding farm nearby, with nearly 250 horses, largest in Estonia.
