ROC(Taiwan) President Dr. Tsai Ing-wen visited Majuro

On March 26th , H.E. ROC(Taiwan) President Dr. Tsai Ing-wen arrived in the Marshall Islands and was welcomed by H.E. President Hilda C. Heine and a line of RMI high-ranking officers at the airport. Later in the evening, President Tsai attended the first Pacific Women Leaders Coalition Conference in Majuro hosted by President Heine and addressed the conference as keynote speaker on the enpowerment of women. Following the conference, the two presdients witnessed the signing of the MOU between the ROC(Taiwan) and RMI government regarding women business start-up small loan revolving fund, which will provide 1 million to support business ventures by Marshallese womehn. Later in the evening, President Tsai and delegation members attended the state banquest hosted by Presdient Heine. The delegation left on 27th of March.
