Amb. Jeffery Hsiao, along with H.E. President David Kabua, cabinet members, traditional leaders, U.S. Amb. Roxanne Cabral and Japan Amb. Norio Saito, attended the 76th Majuro Day at Laura Ballfield on the 20th of June, 2020.
The ceremony started with a marching band performance, then followed by Nitijela Chaplain Rev. Palukne Johnny’s opening prayer, and remarks from Majuro’s traditional leader and President David Kabua.
Amb. Jeffery Hsiao, on behalf of the government of ROC(Taiwan), donated funding for purchasing police equipment to Majuro Atoll Local Government. Ladie Jack, the mayor of Majuro, thanked the ROC(Taiwan) for its long-term assistance to RMI and Majuro in his remarks. Nitijela Chaplain Rev. Palukne Johnny also bestowed blessing upon the people of the ROC(Taiwan) in his closing prayer.
