Amb. Hsiao, Mrs Hsiao and the staff of the Embassy of ROC(Taiwan) were invited to attend the Opening of the Second Part of the 41st Constitutional Regular Session at Nitijela Chamber in International Conference Center on the 10th of August, 2020. U.S. Ambassador Roxanne Cabral and Japan Ambassador Norio Saito were also at presence.
In H.E. President David Kabua’s statement, he mentioned ROC(Taiwan)’s contributions to the Republic of the Marshall Islands on fighting against COVID-19 and stated his government will “work closely with the Republic of China(Taiwan) to broaden and enhance the Technical Agriculture Mission so that it also extends and expands to the other islands and atolls and jointly work with the people ad communities to increase the production of our own local food staple.”
