The Embassy is delighted to express our heartfelt gratitude for the recent adoption of two resolutions in support of the Republic of China (Taiwan) by the Nitijela of the Republic of the Marshall Islands!
Resolution No. 89, which marks 25 years of close diplomatic alliance and partnership between the Marshall Islands and the R.O.C. (Taiwan), reaffirms support for bilateral relations between the two countries. Resolution No. 90 supports Taiwan's participation in the United Nations, as well as in organizations and activities within the UN system such as the World Health Organization, International Civil Aviation Organization, International Criminal Police Organization, and United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
