ROC (Taiwan) supports RMI’s athletes and wishes them great success in the 2014 Micronesian Games

H.E. Ambassador Winston Wen-yi Chen of the Republic of China (Taiwan) presented a check of $500USD to the Marshall Islands National Olympic Committee (MINOC) on 17 July 2014 to show support for those outstanding Marshallese athletes who will be participating in this year’s Micronesian Games in Pohnpei, the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) from 20 to 30 July 2014. Hon. Senator Tony Muller, also the Treasurer of the MINOC, received the check on behalf of MINOC and those RMI’s treasured athletes.

During his remarks, Ambassador Chen expressed that he looked forward to the triumphant return of the RMI athletes from the 2014 Micronesian Games with many good results.

MINOC Treasurer, Hon. Senator Tony Muller expressed the MINOC’s “Kommol Tata” to ROC (Taiwan) and expressed his confidence in the RMI athletes to bring back many medals from the Games.
