Christmas Lighting Celebration in the Marshall Islands: Sharing Warm Moments with the Children

Chargé d’Affaires Hank Liu attended the Marshall Islands’ annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony on November 29 at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, joining fellow members of the diplomatic corps for this festive celebration. The event brought together over a thousand parents and children, creating a joyful and heartwarming evening.
To share the holiday spirit, the Taiwan Embassy prepared stationery gift packs and the Taiwanese traditional game “Chuo-Chuo-Le” (Punch-a-Prize) for the children. Kids who won a quick game of rock–paper–scissors got to punch a hole for a surprise gift—resulting in lots of excitement and laughter throughout the night.
The Embassy also contributed USD 300 to support the organization of this important annual event. We look forward to continuing to work with the Marshall Islands to create happy memories for children and families in the years to come.
