On December 16, Ambassador Hsu attended a Christmas toy donation ceremony hosted by the Formosa Foundation. The foundation’s chairman, Mr. Samuel Lin, curated a heartwarming selection of toys for children at Majuro Hospital, bringing festive cheer and comfort to those spending their holidays in medical care.
Mr. Lin’s commitment to the Marshallese community is visible everywhere. Visitors arriving at the airport are greeted by luggage carts donated by the Formosa Group, which have greatly eased the burden for travelers. Furthermore, his previous donation of waiting chairs to Majuro Hospital has provided a much more comfortable environment for local patients and their families.
As a current Adviser of Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) and former president of the Taiwanese Association in the Marshall Islands, Mr. Samuel Lin has been deeply rooted in the RMI for decades. Beyond his immense business success, he is a dedicated philanthropist whose efforts have significantly strengthened the bond between Taiwan and the Marshall Islands. His selfless contributions perfectly embody the spirit of "Taiwan Can Help" in the Pacific.
