ROC (Taiwan) Foreign Minister H. E. Dr. David Dawei Lee visited the RMI

H.E. Dr. David Tawei Lee, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan), and Mrs. Lee, at the invitation by Hon. Minister John M. Silk, led a 7-member delegation to pay an official visit to the Republic of the Marshall Islands during April 13-14, 2017.

During their visit, they had an audience with H. E. Madame President Dr. Hilda C. Heine and bilateral meeting with Hon. Speaker Kenneth A. Kedi, Hon. Minister John M. Silk and other high-level Government officials. They also witnessed these cooperation and partnership projects between ROC (Taiwan) and RMI, such as signing ceremony of contract for international patient referral service between Shuang Ho Hospital and RMI Ministry of Health, and grand opening of technical training center at Laura Farm of Taiwan Technical Mission.

Other members of the delegation included H. E. Winston Chen, Director General of Department of East Asian and Pacific Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H. E. Web Shih, Secretary-General of Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF), Ms. Chen, Shu-Chih, Senior Secretary of the Office of Minister, Mr. Richard Kun Haw Liu, Section Chief of Officer of Department of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, as well as Mr. Wayne Wang, Senior Officer of Department of East Asian and Pacific Affairs.
