The Taiwan Tourism Administration, in collaboration with Taiwan local governments, tourism associations, travel agencies, hotels, theme parks, leisure farms and souvenir brands—totaling 53 organizations and over 100 industry representatives—organized the largest post-pandemic tourism delegation to Malaysia. The team hosted Taiwan tourism promotion events at The Westin, Kuala Lumpur and at the Renaissance Hotel, Johor Bahru.
At the Kuala Lumpur promotion event, the Deputy Representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia, Mr. James Buu and the Director of International Affairs Division of the Tourism Administration, MOTC, Mr. Huang Yi-Chen, delivered speeches to share the latest travel updates about Taiwan. Around 80 Malaysia local industry players and media representatives attended the event, which focused on Taiwan’s Muslim-friendly facilities, new attractions, themed travel itineraries and various promotional incentives. The goal is to deepen tourism industry exchanges between Taiwan and Malaysia and to enhance the visibility, sales and partnership opportunities of Taiwan’s tourism offerings in the Malaysian market.
