Deputy Representative James Buu attended the Ichia Technologies grand opening ceremony

A big congratulations to Ichia Technologies on the grand opening of its brand-new facility in Kedah, Malaysia! Deputy Representative James Buu from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia attended the ceremony and delivered congratulatory remarks.

Mr. Buu praised Ichia Technologies for its long-term commitment to Malaysia since setting up its first factory in Penang in 1989. He noted that the new facility in Kulim Hi-Tech Park will further boost local industry development and create new job opportunities—showing once again the strong confidence Taiwanese businesses have in Malaysia’s growth. He also commended Kedah’s welcoming investment environment and professional team, calling Ichia’s expansion “a smart and forward-looking decision.”

This new plant marks another exciting milestone in Taiwan–Malaysia industrial cooperation, showcasing how Taiwanese enterprises continue to power innovation and shared prosperity across the region.
