Representative Phoebe Yeh and colleagues from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia extended warm New Year greetings to everyone at the 2026 Chinese Taipei School Kuala Lumpur New Year Flag Raising Ceremony and School Fair, hosted by Mr. Wang Jin Tsorng, the newly appointed Chair of the Board, and Ms. Cheng Ya Fen, the Principal on January 1, 2026.
In her remarks, Representative Yeh shared that she has been very honored to join countless memorable events of the School during her service in Malaysia, and emphasized that the school, is not only a teaching field, but also one of the few places oversea fully presenting Taiwanese culture.
Representative Yeh has particularly expressed her sincere appreciation for the school’s long-term support for TECO in Malaysia, and affirmed its effort to promote high-quality Taiwanese education overseas, as well as its contribution in nurturing talents.
The dignitaries included the school board of directors, members of Parent Committee of Chinese Taipei School, and the representatives of the Federation of Malaysian Alumni Associations of Taiwan Universities, Global Federation of Chinese Business Women Kuala Lumpur Chapter, and Formosa Women Organisation of Malaysia.
