Representative Dr. Lien Yu-Ping attended the "Taiwan-Malaysia Precision Medicine: New Trends in Healthcare" seminar on July 25 in Kuala Lumpur. The event was jointly organized by the Malaysian Healthcare and Biomedical Association (MHBA), the Rx Ecosystem Center, and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH). The seminar focused on sharing the latest developments in precision medicine, microbiome therapy, cancer treatment, and health management.
Representative Dr. Lien stated that Taiwan has accumulated comprehensive experience in hospital information systems, drug discovery and development, medical devices, hospital management, and the National Health Insurance system. Interconnected as a whole, these elements form a holistic healthcare solution that serves as a valuable model for international cooperation. She emphasized that there remains vast potential for Taiwan and Malaysia to further deepen their collaboration in these relevant fields.
