Ambassador Wallace Chow of the Republic of China (Taiwan) joined ground breaking and ribbon cutting ceremonies of the ROC Government's Economic Stimulus Projects in Ngaraard, Ngiwal and Melekeok. The projects include the improvement of the state roads, on-land attractions and recreation park.
President Surangel Whipps, Jr., former President Tommy Remengesau, Jr., Reklai, Minister of MPII Charles Obichang, Minister of MAFE Steven Victor, Minister of MOS Gustav Aitaro, Vice President of Senate Kerai Mariur, Delegates, Governors, Speaker of State and many state citizens attended the event as well. The Projects demonstrate the steadfast Taiwan-Palau friendship and partnership that help improve local infrastructure and economy.
