Ambassador Jessica C. Lee, along with Taiwanese table tennis coach Chen Chin-hsiang, baseball coach Lin Kun-han, and the Palau National Table Tennis Team, greeted the delegation at the airport—showcasing the strong friendship and fruitful sports cooperation between Taiwan and Palau.
This collaboration reflects a concrete commitment made by President Lai Ching-te during his visit to Palau last year to support the nation's sports development. It is also one of the tangible outcomes of the MOU on baseball exchange, signed earlier this year during the visit of Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung, who came as President Lai’s special envoy. ?
Under the framework of the Diplomatic Allies Prosperity Program and Integrated Diplomacy, Taiwan will continue to deepen sports collaboration with Palau. ??
