It was a pleasure for the Ambassador Andy Chen of the R.O.C. (Taiwan) to visit Ngaraard and join the vibrant celebrations of the Demok Festival.
During the visit, the Ambassador first met with the state leadership and members of the Ngaraard State Government to exchange views on local development and community priorities. The meeting reaffirmed the strong and enduring partnership between Taiwan and Palau.
The Ambassador then joined residents and guests in celebrating the Demok Festival, which is a rich cultural heritage of Ngaraard, and tried delicious traditional cuisine
Taiwan is honored to stand alongside our friends in Ngaraard and across Palau, and we look forward to continuing our close cooperation and friendship.
