Taiwan Scholarship Programs
The Trade Mission of the Republic of China (on Taiwan) in Papua New Guinea is pleased to announce that the following three Taiwan Scholarship Programs with a total of 10 places for PNG students are open for application.
1. 2016 Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Taiwan Scholarship Program

3. 2016 MOE Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Program

Offering language study opportunities for Mandarin Chinese and Taiwan’s culture at University or college-affiliated Mandarin training centers listed in its website. The program also aims to help scholarship recipients acquire a better command of Mandarin Chinese, hence a greater understanding and appreciation of Taiwan’s culture.

Application Process
Applicants are advised to first check the above-mentioned website for information about the eligibility, application procedure, scholarship benefits, partner universities, and their individual application deadline. After completing on-line application for one program of his/her choice with a certain university within the deadlines specified by each university, the applicant must print out and sign the application forms, and then deliver them, together with supporting documents and copies of passport, to the Mission before 31 March 2016.
