Last November 5, the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) released a short but impactful video of country's continuing effort in the field of medicine amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The five-minute video, titled “Never Give Up”, revolves around the dilemma of Le Van Dai Trang, a Vietnamese TV anchor, and her daughter, Tron Tron, who suffers from Biliary Atresia. Fortunately, the family was able to receive assistance from MOFA, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare Republic of China (Taiwan) that led to Tron Tron's operation in Taipei Veterans General Hospital.
According to MOFA, this video showcases the commitment of Taiwan being a responsible global citizen as Taiwan Can help and Taiwan Is Helping.
The eye-catching short is available on the MOFA-affiliated Trending Taiwan Facebook and YouTube platforms, as well as the ministry’s official Facebook and Instagram pages. It can be viewed with subtitles in Chinese, English, French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese. (YCH-E) https://taiwantoday.tw/news.php?unit=2&post=188678
