Visa for Studying Chinese:
I.Qualification:
Applicant must be at least high school graduate.
II.Requirements:
1.Completed & signed application form (online application form available through https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw)
2. 2 copies of 1.5”x 2” photo with white background taken within 3 months.
3. Passport should be valid for at least 6 months. Old passport showing previous travels is necessary.
4. Birth Certificate issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO).
5. Marriage Certificate issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) (if female applicant is married) .
6. Current certificate of enrollment/student card or highest diploma and transcript of records.
7. Admittance letter from any of the accredited schools in Taiwan. For information on the schools, please visit http://depart.moe.edu.tw/ED2500/News.aspx?n=B9C5E550F0D6C668&sms=141E0BD754235129 for the updated list.
8. Financial supporting documents of the applicant or parents with at least 6 months transaction.
9. Study plan(reasons, purpose of studying, duration of stay and so forth）10. Attendance Record of previous semester(for those re-applying） 10. Additional requirements such as authentication of some of the above mentioned documents might be needed.
11. The applicant will be scheduled for an interview （if required）.
12.All documents submitted to this office should be Original and 1 photocopy
